"On The Grind" Film Screening + Art Exhibition, S&R Custom Motorcycles, Utica NY July 31 2012

Spent Tuesday evening out at the good old S&R Custom Motorcycles compound at 700 Tracy St. in Utica NY where the Utica Skate Plaza crew held a benefit for their planned skate park. The focus of the evening was a screening of a new documentary on skateboard culture called "On The Grind" by filmmaker James Cheeks III along with an art exhibition in the S&R showroom/gallery featuring artists Tony Thompson, Tim Rand and myself. First, here's a link to the "On The Grind" page at Facebook for more info on the film & where/how to see it:

Here's some pictures from the scene and dude, whenever there's something going out there it is worth taking time out to go see it in person. Great scene, great art, great people.

Totally surreal picture here! Look at artist Tony Thompson's legs ...

LOL!!! how the heck did I get that??

WHAT A GREAT SUMMER!!!!! Two years ago I was schlepping around Syracuse frustrated & miserable about not knowing how to have a career as an artist. Well, here you go!
