Two special Syracuse area art events coming up this week, make sure you check them out if possible.
First up is Theresa Barry's CREEK FLOAT! This Saturday May 4th, Art on the Water, floating sculptural forms on intertubes sent to their watery doom on Onondoga Creek. Organized by the Public Art Task Force with artist Tommy Lincoln's promotional flyer above. I was hoping to have something to include but just haven't had time to even vacuum the living room for a while. Best viewing along the new Creek Walk in Armory Square, check Tommy's poster for more info.
Next up is Dreamt Realities, Maria Rizzo's 2nd show as curator at Tech Garden featuring work by Eddie Colleli, our little art posse's unofficial photographer and four other artist/photographers. Public reception on Thursday May 9th from 5pm to 7pm and Maria always throws a great reception! Hope to see everyone there.
