Victor Lenuzza, Recent Paintings, Hamilton Center for the Arts, February 8 - 28 2013

Sunday I finally got to see fellow Broad Street Gallery artist Victor Lenuzza's superb painting show currently on display at the Hamilton Center for the Arts' gallery space. A fellow graduate of Syracuse University's School of Visual and Performing Arts -- where he painted with my hero Jerome Witkin -- Victor's background is in illustration and design and he brings that strong graphic sensibility + superb rendering skills to his canvases. The exhibition runs through Friday February 28th and we will be hosting a closing reception for Victor that evening which will be open to the public.

For more information on the Hamilton Center for the Arts, it's programs and the opportunities available to artists at the Broad Street Gallery co-op, please visit our newly designed website at

My favorite of Victor's paintings from the exhibition!

The colored lights along the top were a new touch for my eyes and that orange was perfect for adding an extra element of depth to Victor's installation.

Another view of my favorite with the flash this time. Amazing painting!
