This Saturday marks the return of the (R)evolution group's annual artists spectacular at The Gear Factory in Syracuse. The event runs from 3pm to 11pm on June 10th. I do not know how many were signed up but there's usually many dozens represented, all styles & manner of materials. There's often a house band with the artists in attendance to meet the public, network, and chill.

More information about the group + links to the event page can be found here

Interesting show concept too, where each artist is assigned a spot usually on the hanging display panels or marvelous box formations fabricated from timbers salvaged when the building was renovated. Itself a superb accomplishment, serving both as a secure location for artists studio or business locations, gallery areas, band rehearsal space, and residential units on the upper floors. Just going down there is impressive, and it's a great chance for area artists to network while showing their wares in a stimulatingly urban social environment.

I was regrettably unable to participate this time out but will make a trip down for gallery hours and share a followup. Then do my best to be ready for the fall.
