The Jeepfull of artworks I'm bringing to The Dev in Utica on Tuesday for a one person showing on their gallery walls for July of 2013 -- Opening Wednesday July 3 from 7pm to 10pm, 41 Devereux St. in Utica and a very happening little music/eating/drinking/art venue in the heart of the downtown business district.
I'm bringing their curator Dan a mix of everything, including the first (and best, if asked) of the door paintings done for the Golden Artist Colors commission & video project in December of 2012. One of the others is already part of the Project U group's Art In Windows: Phase 2 installations at the APAC Customer Services center just down the block from The Dev. And one of the cross-functions of the July 3rd reception is to promote that effort via guided walking tours of the window installations by other artists from the Project U posse. Should be a good time and hey, they even got a band. How cool is that?
